The Reformed Church University Finance Department is headed by the Director Financial Administration Mr. Pikisai Mhizha who is the a Chief Finance Officer of the University and reports to the Vice Chancellor. The operations of the Department are guided by the University Charter (Statutory Instrument 201 of 2001) and the University Finance Policy.

The Department is the custodian of all University assets. In this regard the department is responsible for maintaining a sound and effective University accounting system which includes but not limited to billing student fees, safe keeping of the University funds, financial advice on University operations, internal controls implementation, preparation of annual financial statements, etc. The Financial operations of the University are audited regularly by the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe Internal Audit Office. HLB Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants are the University external auditors.
Before you apply to study with the Reformed Church University you have to come up with a plan on how you are going to fund your studies. RCU’s study fees are affordable, but studying is still a significant investment either way. The cost depends on the qualification, mode of delivery, as well as prior learning.

Application Fee
An application fee is the cost associated with submitting an application for consideration. The application fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study at RCU or do not qualify for admission to RCU. It is currently pegged at (US$10) for underdgraduate Zimbabwean applicants and (US$15) for postgraduate Zimbabwean applicants.

The study fees do not include your prescribed books and other learning materials. Books are an additional cost that you must factor into your calculations for your full costs of study
Accommodation Fees
Accommodation is offered at the main campus is currently for female students only at (US$180) per semester. Please note that we have a limited number of rooms and students are admitted into the RCU hostel on a first come first serve basis. Priority is given to level one semester one students who have paid 50% of their fees Food is sold for $1 per meal, students can purchase their meal tickets at the Finance office.
